Acoustic shockwave therapy, also know as extracorporeal Shockwave therapy (ESWT), works by using high-energy sound waves to stimulate healing in the body's soft tissues. These sound waves, applied non-invasively through a handheld device, trigger a physical and chemical response in the targeted area. This response promotes increased blood flow, the release of growth factors, and the creation of new blood vessels, which helps break down scar tissue and encourages the body's natural healing processes.
Discovery session: 20-30 minutes
Subsequent sessions: 10-20 minutes
6 treatments recommended to start: 1x/week for 6 weeks
Some conditions may require more sessions
While insurance does not cover Shockwave therapy, we keep it simple with competitive pricing for single visits or prepaid packages for multiple visits.
